Nestled in the scenic wilderness of Princeton, Maine, Long Lake Camps is easily accessible whether you’re traveling by car, commercial flight, or private plane. Here’s how to get here:

Driving Directions

From Interstate 95 North:

  1. Take Exit 227 (formerly Exit 55) in Lincoln.
  2. Turn right off the ramp onto the three-mile access road.
  3. Take the second left onto Route 6 East and continue through Lincoln to Topsfield.
  4. Turn right onto Route 1 South into Princeton.
  5. In Princeton, turn right onto West Street (across from the Peabody House).
  6. The Long Lake Camps road is one mile ahead on the right.


Alternative Route:

  1. Take Interstate 95 North to Route 9 (at Bangor).
  2. Follow Route 9 East to Woodland.
  3. Turn left onto Route 1 North into Princeton.
  4. In Princeton, turn left onto West Street (across from the Peabody House).
  5. The Long Lake Camps road is one mile ahead on the right.

Flying to Long Lake Camps

Commercial Flights:

Fly into Bangor International Airport, which is just a two-hour scenic drive from camp. From there, follow the driving directions provided above.

Private Planes:

The Princeton Airport, only 1.5 miles from camp, provides convenient access for private pilots. The airport features two 4,000-foot runways:

  • Runway 1533: Equipped with runway lights activated by 5 clicks on 122.8.
  • Runway 9.2 NM North: VSAI on Runway 15 and tie-downs available.

*Please note: Fuel is not available.

Arrange in advance, and our camp vehicle will pick you up from the airport. Fly in and relax—we’ll take care of the rest!
